I am David Suchodoll, and I am working as a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Klaus Mohnke at the Department of Mathematics Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

My work revolves around geometric topology, including knot Floer homology, branched covers of 3-manifolds, as well as contact topology.

research

The teaching part of my job includes tutorials and exercise lessons for undergraduates.

I'm passionate about sports science (especially triathlon), classical music with a love for opera, great coffee and donuts, and all kinds of games.
